Yes. The initial consultation is complimentary for families considering comprehensive Service Academy admissions consulting, ROTC scholarship strategy, interview preparation, or the Application Narrative Package for essays and resume development.

It is a focused conversation about the candidate, intended commissioning pathways, timeline, primary concerns, and the level of support that may fit the family. It is not a complete application audit, written competitiveness report, or extended strategic-planning session.

The candidate should participate whenever possible. When the student is a minor, at least one parent or legal guardian should also attend.

Including the family members who will help make the decision reduces confusion about scope, expectations, pricing, and next steps. Additional parents or guardians may participate when appropriate.

Be prepared to discuss the candidate’s grade level, graduation year, GPA, course rigor, available SAT or ACT scores, activities, athletics, leadership, service, employment, and intended Service Academies or ROTC programs.

It is also helpful to identify the family’s most urgent concern: an approaching deadline, competitiveness question, interview, essay, nomination process, CFA preparation issue, or medical qualification concern.

SAC can provide a candid, high-level perspective based on the information discussed, including apparent strengths, concerns, timing issues, and areas that may deserve greater attention.

A brief consultation cannot produce a definitive probability of admission or replace a complete review of transcripts, testing, activities, essays, recommendations, interviews, nominations, medical qualification, and the applicant pool. No responsible consultant can guarantee an appointment or scholarship.

No. The consultation allows both the family and SAC to determine whether the requested work, timing, and expectations are a reasonable fit.

Families choosing to proceed receive a written agreement defining the applications, services, responsibilities, duration, and payment terms. No comprehensive or focused engagement begins until that agreement and the applicable payment requirements are completed.

The DoDMERB appointment is not a general fit conversation. Individualized work begins during the first meeting, including discussion of the medical history, current status, documentation, remedials, disqualification concerns, timing, and potential next steps.

SAC provides process education and documentation strategy. It does not replace a physician, attorney, DoDMERB, or the applicable Service Academy or ROTC medical-waiver authority.

SAC will provide an honest assessment of whether the requested work fits the services offered. In some cases, the appropriate recommendation may be a narrower engagement, a later starting point, another type of professional, or no paid engagement at all.

The purpose of the consultation is to create clarity—not to pressure every family into a package that does not match its needs.
